Finally! My first image of Banff’s Cascade Mountain. Nearly three weeks after I attended the International Landscape Photographers’ Association Summit in Banff, Alberta last week, I’m finally getting a chance to start work on the images from my trip north of the border. If you haven’t heard of it, I highly recommend clicking on the highlighted link above to find out more. Again – HIGHLY recommended! At the risk of rambling on like I’m often known to do, I’m going to cut it short here so I can get more Banff images ready to post here over the next few days. Enjoy, and let me know what you think in the comments below!

Banff’s Cascade Mountain
The sun’s first rays of light engulf the entire peak of Cascade Mountain on an extremely chilly morning in Banff National Park in mid-January. The temperatures hovered around -24°F/-31°C. The surrounding valley and forest edges showed some wolf sign in the snow and a few elk were seen off in the distance.
