Bow River, Banff National Park

There is nothing as beautiful as the mist rising like wildfire smoke over a river on a very chilly Canadian Rocky Mountain winter sunrise This morning was no different than any other on the slippery edge of the hoarfrost-crusted Bow River just west of Calgary, Alberta.
