Snow in Summer – Shoshone National Forest

by | Sep 13, 2011

As promised, now that I have my new gallery system in place, I’m able to save a lot of time in post-production/publishing so I can post more work at a much faster pace. Here’s a new image I just finished editing.

Snow is still present on the mountains on a bright, crisp summer day in the Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming. (Rich Leighton)

This incredible view is what I saw as I rounded a corner through the winding roads that snake through the Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming. I spent the next hour shooting different versions of this mountain and talking to some German photographers who came to a screeching halt with squealing brakes much the same way I did when I saw this view open up…

Sharing and commenting via the social media links below will help me greatly, and is much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Wonderful shot Rich.  We have the same sort of shot of Mt Lassen Volcanic Park…I see it everyday and it is surge of excitement every time you come to the top of a hill and there it is right in front of you
