A weird, lovely, fantastic object out of nature like Delicate Arch has the curious ability to remind us – like rock and sunlight and wind and wilderness – that out there is a different world, older and greater and deeper by far than ours, a world which surrounds and sustains the little world of men as sea and sky surround and sustain a ship. The shock of the real. For a little while we are again able to see, as the child sees, a world of marvels.

Delicate Arch, Utah
I’ve been ridiculously busy these past couple of weeks and haven’t had much time to post online or show my newest photos here as often as I want to, but here is one of half-a-dozen or so of Utah’s famous Delicate Arch found in Arches National Park I photographed while enroute through the Moab Desert to a wedding I shot in Aspen, CO a little more than a month ago. I’ve added a couple of gallery links below you should check out. Let me know what you think in the comments section!
