Mount Shasta

by | Feb 22, 2022

On a trip to Southern Oregon and the Oregon Coast to photograph wild Pacific landscapes and a profusion of wild lilies and native bog orchids further inland, I ended up by accident in Medford, OR where I got this unexpected fantastic view of Mount Shasta from the top of Lower Table Rock, just across the border to the South in California. I came back from this particular trail with a ton of great images of mariposa lilies, wild columbine and the worst case of poison oak I’ve ever experienced in my life. Can’t wait to go back and see it again!

Mount Shasta

Mount Shasta is one of the many active volcanoes found in the Pacific Northwest with a peak of 9772 feet. This image was taken from the north in Medford, Oregon on a spectacularly clear spring day.
